New Avengers Poster
So the news that has been circling around today has been about the title change for the upcoming movie, The Avengers. In the UK the title has been changed to Avengers Assemble. The name change comes about in order to avoid any confusion with the 60’s TV series as well as the 1998 movie of the same name. Apparently, the UK fears any misleading assumptions that may cause movie goers over to believe that John Steed and Emma Peel are making a come back.
The other new bit of news in Avenger-land is the release of the new poster. While it’s cool to see the cover of some many comics books coming to life, this just screams photoshop and kind of leaves me with a not so happy feeling.
