“ElfQuest” Comics Getting Adapted

Producers Stephanie Thorpe and Paula Rhodes have scored the film rights to Wendy and Richard Pini’s late 70’s comic book series “ElfQuest” for a planned feature film adaptation.

The comic follows a tribe of elves on the distant World of Two Moons who find themselves driven from their forest by humans and then discover something they didn’t know existed: other elves.

Warner Bros. had been developing an “Elfquest” movie in recent years but the rights lapsed earlier this year. Thorpe and Rhodes have previously produced a short live-action production based on the property.
