Coming off strong reviews from last night’s screening of “Everest” at the Venice Film Festival, the film’s director Baltasar Kormakur is teaming with legendary “Alien” director Ridley Scott for a new TV series adaptation of the hit MMORPG sci-fi video game “EVE Online”.<\/p>\n

The project is set in a galaxy of 7,800 star systems more than 21,000 years in the future. Characters pilot customizable ships and can participate in a number of in-game activities like mining, piracy, manufacturing, trading, exploration, and combat.
