{"id":1347,"date":"2011-03-29T22:49:19","date_gmt":"2011-03-29T18:49:19","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/forbiddenpanel.com\/PanelCast\/?p=1347"},"modified":"2011-03-29T22:49:19","modified_gmt":"2011-03-29T18:49:19","slug":"wolverine-deadpool-and-x-men-film-talk","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/forbiddenpanel.com\/PanelCast\/wolverine-deadpool-and-x-men-film-talk\/","title":{"rendered":"Wolverine, Deadpool, and X-Men film talk."},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.empireonline.com\/news\/feed.asp?NID=30538\" target=\"_blank\">Empire Online<\/a> has release a bunch of new concerning the future of the X-Francise, spanning from X-Sequels to Wolvie-Sequels to the New Deadpool movie. \u00a0All of which are accompanied by a tri-fecta of images being release for their cover.<\/p>\n\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>The Wolverine<\/strong>, the Hugh Jackman-starring sequel to\u00a0<strong>X-Men\u00a0Origins:\u00a0Wolverine<\/strong>, lost its director,\u00a0Darren Aronofsky, soon after we spoke, but Donner still hinted at the direction in which the Japan-set movie could go. &#8220;It will have depth and a dramatic backbone,&#8221; she said. &#8220;And yet there&#8217;s more action in this one than in any one we&#8217;ve ever done. It&#8217;s such a good script. We have the great Christopher McQuarrie writing and it&#8217;s very true to the Japanese saga. This is Logan on his own&#8230;&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>As for\u00a0<strong>Deadpool<\/strong>, the movie which will reintroduce\u00a0Ryan Reynolds as the wise-cracking mercenary who was given such short shrift in\u00a0<strong>Wolverine<\/strong>, Donner confessed that it would be &#8220;a total reboot. We&#8217;re either going to pretend that didn&#8217;t happen, or mock it, which he could do.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>No director has yet hopped on board\u00a0<strong>Deadpool<\/strong>, although the film has been offered to the likes of Robert Rodriguez in the past. &#8220;We&#8217;re looking for a director, yes,&#8221; said Donner who, mindful of Reynolds&#8217; ever-growing logjam of work, added that the film would shoot in the next year or so. &#8220;He\u2019s very involved, Ryan. He\u2019s working with the writers on the screenplay and it is as much as it is ours.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>And Donner also confirmed that this would be the Deadpool of the comics, and not the mute mutant we saw in last time around, right down to Deadpool&#8217;s scarred face. &#8220;I&#8217;m tellin&#8217; ya, it&#8217;s true to the comic,&#8221; she laughed. &#8220;You\u2019ll see all of them. You\u2019ll see Wade Wilson, the good-looking Ryan Reynolds!
