Forget about that \u201cInhumans\u201d movie as part of Phase 4 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe \u2014 Marvel has instead announced a TV series spotlighting the property that will debut in September 2017 on IMAX screens, before moving to the small screen on ABC, the home of Marvel\u2019s \u201cAgents of S.H.I.E.L.D.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/header>\n

According to Marvel.com<\/a>, \u201cInhumans\u201d will exclusively show its first two episodes on IMAX screens for a two-week window \u2014 the first-time a live-action TV series has done so. The series will subsequently air on ABC with \u201cadditional exclusive content that can only be seen on the network.\u201d<\/p>\n

Created in 1965 by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby, the Inhumans are a race of super-humans with \u201cdiverse and singularly unique powers,\u201d as described in the official announcement. The group of heroes have recently seen a higher profile at Marvel on the comics page and on the small screen, as \u201cAgents of S.H.I.E.L.D.\u201d has already introduced the mutant-like concept and explored it heavily. In the comics, the group will soon face off against the X-Men in a crossover titled \u201cInhumans Vs. X-Men,\u201d written by Charles Soule and Jeff Lemire, and illustrated by Leinil Francis Yu.<\/p>\n
