Syfy has reportedly given a pilot script order for \u201cRoche Limit,\u201d based on the Image Comics sci-fi noir series by Michael Moreci, Steve Seeley, Vic Malhotra, and Kyle Charles.<\/p>\n

The story is set on a human colony founded by billionaire Langford Skaargred on an alien planet that borders a strange space anomaly. What begins as a place for hope has now become a melting pot of greed, cynicism, and lawlessness and a murder mystery soon unravels everything.<\/p>\n

Writer Will Pascoe (\u201cOrphan Black\u201d) will handle the adaptation and will likely be showrunner, while Heavy Metal and Fremantle Media will co-produce. This follows on from Syfy\u2019s recent critical and commercial success adapting literary works such as \u201cThe Expanse\u201d and \u201cThe Magicians\u201d.<\/p>\n
