Set in 2020, the story follows an elite international cell of occult freedom fighters dedicated to the creation of a better world for everyone \u2013 by any means necessary. The comic served as a major inspiration for The Wachowski\u2019s \u201cThe Matrix\u201d Trilogy.<\/p>\n
Morrison\u2019s work on \u201cBatman,\u201d \u201cJLA\u201d and \u201cDoom Patrol\u201d have been celebrated, and his other creations include \u201cThe Filth\u201d and \u201cWe3\u201d.
