Lee Daniels (\u201cThe Butler,\u201d \u201cThe Paperboy\u201d) has been set to direct the film adaptation of the upcoming superhero crime fighter comic \u201cStealth\u201d for Universal Pictures and Skybound Entertainment.<\/p>\n

Created by \u201cThe Walking Dead\u201d author Robert Kirkman and set to launch in March, the story is set in Detroit and follows Stealth who has waged war on crime in the city for decades.<\/p>\n

Now though, he has taken his pursuit of justice too far. Only reporter Tony Barber knows that behind Stealth\u2019s reckless behavior is an older man battling Alzheimer\u2019s \u2013 his father. A father unwilling to accept that he\u2019s no longer the hero this city needs \u2013 with enemies all too eager to force his retirement.<\/p>\n

\u201cIron Man\u201d scribes Mark Fergus and Hawk Ostby are set to write the screenplay while Daniels, Kirkman, David Alpert, Bryan Furst, Sean Furst and Pam Williams produce.<\/p>\n
