Ridley Scott\u2019s classic science fiction horror franchise \u201cAlien\u201d is making a comeback in comic book form with the property set to return with a brand-new run from Marvel Comics.<\/p>\n

Bloody Disgusting<\/a>\u00a0broke the news, saying the comic will take place on an icy moon where a group of scientists are attempting to conduct research for water conservation.<\/p>\n

However, their research soon takes a drastic turn when they discover a long-dormant organism buried within the ice. Soon this group of characters must fight to survive against the deadly terror.<\/p>\n

The comic is set to debut this spring on the annual Alien Day celebrations on April 26th.<\/p>\n

The comic comes ahead of both a new \u201cAlien\u201d film which begins shooting in a few weeks in Hungary under the direction of Fede \u00c1lvarez, and a new TV series from \u201cFargo\u201d creator Noah Hawley which is currently in pre-production.<\/p>\n
