Aaron Eckhart is set to play Adam Frankenstein in Stuart Beattie’s comic-to-feature adaptation “I, Frankenstein” for Lakeshore Entertainment, Hopscotch Features and Lionsgate.<\/p>\n

In the graphic novel, Frankenstein\u2019s creature (now called Adam) has survived to present day due to a genetic quirk in his creation. Making his way to a dark, gothic metropolis, he finds himself caught in a centuries old war between two immortal clans. The comic’s author, Kevin Grevioux, co-created the “Underworld” franchise.<\/p>\n

“G.I. Joe” and “Collateral” scribe Stuart Beattie, who had hit success with last year’s Aussie Red Dawn-esque action thriller “Tomorrow, When the War Began”, penned the script and will direct.<\/p>\n
