We know all too well where the \u201cMutant\u201d bit went, but now it seems we\u2019re also losing \u201cTeenage.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>We haven\u2019t been able to get a definite statement as to\u00a0why this title change is occurring, and our sources are not 100% clear on whether or not the Turtles will indeed be adolescents.<\/p>\n<p>One of our sources has said:<\/p>\n<p>It seems to be driven by marketing. Think of John Carter and how Disney wouldn\u2019t allow for a title with either \u201cPrincess\u201d or \u201cMars\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Also, I suppose, if they have to remove the word Mutant from the title because it doesn\u2019t make sense any more, you\u2019d want to get rid of Teenage too, for scansion as much as anything else. We can\u2019t take it for granted yet that the Turtles won\u2019t be aged 13-19.<\/p>\n<p>Though, suddenly, I\u2019m starting to think the whole issue of how old they are is going to be dodged.
