One of the GOOD things about Comic Con recently has been the use of space outside.\u00a0 In the last, oh, three years now, the studios and other pretty much non comic companies have started taking up space outside of Gaslamp and the adjacent area to pimp their wears to not the just Con goers, but the general public as well. From Scott Pilgrim, to Capcom, everyone seems to be trying to do something bigger and better every year.<\/p>\n

I think The Walking Dead just won.<\/p>\n

During this year\u2019s Con, Petco Park is being turned into a Walking Dead Escape.\u00a0 A massive interactive \u201cmaze\u201d if you will, were you participate and pretty much role play that you\u2019re in The Walking Dead.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Sounds cool, and I don\u2019t even watch the damn show!<\/p>\n

Few bits though.\u00a0 It\u2019s going to cost you.\u00a0 Want to escape from the Walking Dead, you\u2019re going to have to pay up.\u00a0 Right now, it\u2019s $70 to participate.\u00a0 But you get a variant Walking Dead 100 with the purchase.\u00a0 (Expect copies of those to sell high)\u00a0 But from the sound of it, this isn\u2019t some shitty maze like at Knott\u2019s Berry Farm during Halloween.\u00a0 No, it gets more complex than that.\u00a0 Apparently, you can be attacked by a zombie, be bitten, and BECOME A DAMN ZOMBIE!\u00a0 Holy crap!\u00a0 If you want to skip the formalities, you can pay to be a zombie from the get go!\u00a0 The downside, you want to watch, you got to pay up as well.\u00a0 Which I think is kinda bullshit, but hey, capitalism is the backbone of our nation.<\/p>\n
