More evidence seems to be mounting that Marvel Studios is moving forward with its proposed “Guardians of the Galaxy” movie.\"Marvel<\/p>\n

Bleeding Cool reports that Marvel has filed for eleven trademarks under the title, applying the name to a variety of international classes including “jewelery, beverages, furniture, cosmetics, computer games, fabrics, foods, paper goods, entertainment, internet services and even retail store services.”<\/p>\n

The original story centres on a group of aliens, the last surviving members of their kind, who journey to Earth to protect the planet from an upcoming invasion.<\/p>\n

No screenwriter or director is attached to the project as yet.<\/p>\n
