Bethesda Softworks\u00ae, a ZeniMax\u00ae Media company, today revealed the all-star cast lending their voices to\u00a0DishonoredTM<\/sup><\/em><\/strong>, a new first-person action game from Arkane Studios in which the player takes on the role of Corvo, a supernatural assassin driven by revenge.\u00a0Dishonored<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0<\/em>will feature an award-winning ensemble including Academy Award\u00ae winner, Susan Sarandon (\u201cThelma & Louise,\u201d \u201cDead Man Walking\u201d), Golden Globe\u00ae winner, Brad Dourif (\u201cThe Lord of the Rings\u201d trilogy, \u201cOne Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest\u201d), Emmy\u00ae Award nominees Carrie Fisher (original \u201cStar Wars\u201d trilogy) and John Slattery (\u201cMad Men\u201d), Michael Madsen (\u201cThelma & Louise,\u201d \u201cReservoir Dogs,\u201d \u201cKill Bill\u201d), and Lena Headey (\u201c300,\u201d \u201cGame of Thrones\u201d),<\/p>\n

Susan Sarandon<\/strong>, an Academy Award winner and five-time nominee, will make her videogame debut as the former aristocrat, Granny Rags \u2013 an intriguing old blind woman now deranged after years of street life. Academy Award nominee and Golden Globe-winner\u00a0Brad Dourif<\/strong>\u00a0takes on the role of the inventor Piero,\u00a0creator of the iconic mask worn by Corvo as well as a wealth of gadgets Corvo can use. Emmy winner and Hollywood-icon\u00a0Carrie Fisher<\/strong>\u00a0can be heard broadcasting government propaganda over loudspeakers throughout the city of Dunwall, where the game is set.<\/p>\n

The all-star cast continues with\u00a0John Slattery<\/strong>\u00a0(\u201cMad Men,\u201d \u201cThe Adjustment Bureau\u201d) who takes on the role of Admiral Havelock, a Loyalist who helps Corvo on his quest, as well as\u00a0Michael Madsen\u00a0<\/strong>who brings his videogame voiceover experience to the role of Daud, a mysterious assassin.\u00a0Chlo\u00eb Grace Moretz\u00a0<\/strong>(\u201cKick-Ass,\u201d \u201cHugo\u201d) portrays Young Lady Emily, the Empress\u2019 daughter who is kidnapped after her mother\u2019s death while\u00a0Lena Headey\u00a0<\/strong>joins the cast as Calista, Emily\u2019s caretaker. In addition to the star-studded voice cast, Composer\u00a0Daniel Licht<\/strong>\u00a0(\u201cDexter\u201d) lends his musical talents to create the game\u2019s original score.<\/p>\n

Dishonored<\/em>\u00a0gives players the chance to eliminate enemies using a flexible combat system that combines supernatural abilities and numerous weapons. Pursue targets under the cover of darkness or boldly attack with weapons drawn. The choices you make will control each mission and the game’s ultimate\u00a0conclusion.<\/p>\n

Dishonored<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0is set for release in North American on October 9, 2012 and throughout Europe on October 12, 2012 on the Xbox 360\u00ae video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, PlayStation\u00ae 3 computer entertainment system, and Games for Windows.<\/p>\n
