Star Trek: The Next Generation star Michael Dorn is developing a new spin-off sci-fi TV series about his Klingon character Captain Worf.\"Worf\"<\/p>\n

Dorn appeared as the Starfleet officer on The Next Generation and Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, and now hes keen to return in a new show.<\/p>\n

The actor tells TrekNews.net, “I had come up with the idea because I love the character and I think hes a character that hasnt been fully developed and hasnt been fully realized.<\/p>\n

“Once I started thinking about it, it became obvious to me that I wanted to at least put it out there, which I have, and the response has been pretty amazing. Weve been contacted by different individuals… about wanting to come on board and be part of this.<\/p>\n

“I was on a movie not too long ago, where one of the producers was basically lobbying to be part of it. He was like, Michael, Id love to write it, if you havent. So, at this point, my agents and my manager are looking at all the avenues and trying to figure out which is the best one.”<\/p>\n
