Starting today, gamers who have been searching for remaining copies of\u00a0<em>Guild Wars 2<\/em>\u00a0will be able to join their friends in-game and experience what the entire industry is raving about, as the game is once again available for purchase through\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/buy.guildwars2.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">buy.guildwars2.com<\/a>\u00a0and numerous\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.guildwars2.com\/en\/retailers\" target=\"_blank\">retail partners<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>ArenaNet suspended first-party sales and retail replenishment on August 30\u2014just two days after the game\u2019s retail release\u2014to catch up with record demand and to ensure that players who bought the game would continue to have the best online experience possible. Despite the suspension of first-party sales and retail replenishment,\u00a0<em>Guild Wars 2<\/em>\u00a0grabbed the number one position in the All Formats charts across 10 European markets\u2014 the first PC game in the UK to have accomplished this in nearly two years.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Since suspending sales, ArenaNet and NCsoft have substantially expanded the game\u2019s capacity by deploying new servers in both North America and Europe, and by nearly doubling the number of customer support agents. Game systems that have been under extremely heavy demand, such as the Trading Post, have been bolstered and prepared for the continued influx of players.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPreserving the customer experience has always been our top priority,&#8221; said Mike O\u2019Brien, president and cofounder of ArenaNet. &#8220;We\u2019re supporting\u00a0<em>Guild Wars 2<\/em>\u00a0for the long run.
