The Governor might be sporting a bandage in the new poster for The Walking Dead, but don\u2019t expect for him to be without his signature eye patch for too long. Robert Kirkman teases that fans will see that accessory join the cast of AMC\u2019s hit zombie drama pretty early on during the back half of Season 3.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy money is on that eye patch coming in, and coming in pretty soon,\u201d he told The Hollywood Reporter. \u201cI\u2019d be on the lookout for that.\u201d<\/p>\n

The tagline on the new poster is \u201can eye for an eye,\u201d which teases that The Governor is now going to be coming after Rick and the survivors at the Prison. We already got a taste of that conflict in the promo for the second half of Season 3. Of course, it\u2019s worth noting that Michonne stabs The Governor in the eye, not Rick, but somehow we doubt that he\u2019s forgotten that fact in his vengeful journey to the Prison.<\/p>\n

Officially picked up for a fourth season, The Walking Dead returns Sunday, Feb. 10 at 9 p.m. ET\/PT on AMC.<\/p>\n
