Paul Bettany is expanding his work in the Marvel universe, taking on a role beyond the voice of Iron Man’s operating system JARVIS.<\/p>\n

The Daily Mail reports that Bettany will play The Vision, an android hero in the upcoming “Avengers: Age of Ultron”.\"Paul<\/p>\n

In the comics, Ultron created The Vision as a weapon to be used against the Avengers. Vision, who can fire beams of radiation and turn invisible, ultimately turned the tables on Ultron and became an Avengers member himself.<\/p>\n

Bettany and Jeremy Renner (Hawkeye) were at Shepperton Studios this week meeting with director Joss Whedon. Bettany was reportedly involved in “a series of costume, hair and make-up tests and worked with stuntmen and armourers”.<\/p>\n

Filming begins next month on locations in the UK and South Africa.<\/p>\n
