It has been a long wait, but finally the first trailer and poster have hit for the film adaptation of the “Assassin’s Creed” video game franchise. A true teaser, the clip sets up the basic premise and then just runs with some gorgeous visuals albeit with an odd music choice.<\/p>\n

Michael Fassbender stars in the film as Desmond Miles, a man who was to be executed who is instead put into the animus – a system that allows him to access the genetic memories of his ancestor – an assassin during the time of the Spanish Inquisition. The film opens in December.<\/p>\n
