We all remember our first don’t we? \u00a0The first time we see them on screen. \u00a0The first time we hang their poster on the wall. \u00a0The first time we watch another movie just because they are in it. \u00a0Our first celebrity crush. \u00a0Well, she was mine.<\/p>\n

I first “met” Carrie Fisher in the iconic role of Princess Leia in Star Wars when it came out in 1977. \u00a0I was only 4 at the time but I knew then that we had something special. \u00a0The way she lit up the screen was magical for me.<\/p>\n
I followed her on to some of the other films she was in. \u00a0Always looking out for that smile and twinkle in her eye. \u00a0I was surprised by her cameos and even more impressed by her writing. \u00a0And when she made her big comeback, there was no one more excited than me![](\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/forbiddenpanel.com\/PanelCast\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/12\/leia-beachball-vader-ewok-150x150.jpg?resize=150%2C150\")

It now saddens me that she has passed. \u00a0She had managed to work her way into the lives of millions of fans throughout the world. \u00a0We will miss you Carrie. \u00a0We will miss your candor and honesty. \u00a0But most of all, we will miss your smile.![](\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/forbiddenpanel.com\/PanelCast\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/12\/images.jpg?resize=150%2C150\")

Carrie Fisher is survived by her mother, Debbie Reynolds and daughter, Billie Lourd. \u00a0We here at Forbidden Panel send them and her friends and family and her millions of fans our condolences.<\/p>\n
