From Dark Horizons<\/a><\/p>\n

Earlier this week came word that the planned reboot of the “Hellraiser” franchise at Dimension Films looks to have died on the vine.<\/p>\n

“Drive Angry” duo Todd Farmer and Patrick Lussier were attached to the remake but they toldBloody Disgusting<\/a>\u00a0that while they presented numerous different takes on the property to the studio, they “never saw eye to eye creatively” and so they’re no longer involved.<\/p>\n

When they signed on the studio wanted an “epic and dark rated R” feature but now it looks like the studio was pushing for more of a PG-13 which seems near impossible for such a property.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile today,\u00a0STYD<\/a>\u00a0has posted some now likely discarded Cenobite conceptual designs from the project including a new and much more HR Giger-style take on Pinhead.<\/p>\n
