SQUID-HEADED TITAN RAMPAGES ACROSS A SCORCHED LAND
A MAN CALLED KRAKEN NOW AVAILABLE
The Savage and bizarre adventures of Kraken. Half flesh and blood! Half god-thing! All man! Join the vicious meta-hooligan as he wanders the broken back of blasted world in search of the one fella who can set things right. The 58 page, wide-format, full color graphic novel is now available!
Fifty years after the ULTRA WARS wiped out all but the most resilient hypersapians, only the most powerful and resolute survived. Among those, only the most brutal and cunning would lay claim to a funereal world without sunshine or love, a world of demi-gods and Acheronian super-thugs. And among these, none were more tenacious, more danger some, or more savage than a MAN CALLED KRAKEN!
This weird, sci-fantasy tale was created by Sean Belcher (writer) and Joey LaBartunek (artist), and can- maybe- described as somewhere between HP Lovecraft, Master’s of the Universe, and Conan the Barbarian. But that just scratches the surface of a story that is pure visual dynamite guaranteed to blow your eyes balls out of your head and send them bouncing around the room like a little rubber ball filled with nitroglycerin, exploding everything they hit!

Subject 242 answers the dreaded question “How do you kill an immortal man?”.
From the deeply demented mind of writer AJ Herrera and featuring the creepy art of Daniel Whitfield, Subject 242 was a project created during the 24 hr Comics Day. Both creators were locked inside a comic book store for 24 hours and challenged to write, draw and complete a full 24 page comic book. Here is the finished book.
This book is 24 black and white pages with full color covers and is available wherever Forbidden Panel Comics are sold. It is filled with violent images and not recommended for children.

Convention season is in full swing and Forbidden Panel is right where we want to be: right in the middle of it! We received a wonderful response from old and new fans welcoming us back to Wonder Con in Anaheim this year. AJ Herrera and crew introduced several new books, as well as creating a new fan base for our existing titles.
On Friday night after a full first day at the convention, we had our annual Wonder Con company dinner. The food was terrific and the company was even better. Our friends and family showed up to hang out, talk about the day, and make plans for the rest of the weekend.
There were many highlights to the first convention of the season that included Forbidden Panel. These included admiring the many, amazing cosplayers wandering around the convention center, meeting and sharing our books with popular celebrities, and for me (Andrea), it was attending the Lucifer Panel on Sunday.
April was a busy month for us that also included our 24-hour Create Something Day. “Create Something Day” has become a way for members of Forbidden Panel, as well as other artists and creators, to come together and work on their projects over a 24-hour period. It’s a fun a way to finish projects, visit with like minded individuals and at times catch up on your favorite movies. Check our Facebook page for the next one!
Stay tuned for our coming events, as May is going to be another exciting month for us. We can’t wait to share it with all of you!

Day 2 started out much the same as day one. We headed over to the San Diego Convention Center early, playing Pokemon Go along the way. Friday’s crowds were bigger than Thursday, yet more organized than previous years.
Today started like every year; long lines, people everywhere, and just the right amount of awesome to make it ok.
