Fox & Boom! Make Massive Comics Deal

20th Century Fox and comic book publisher Boom! Studios (“2 Guns”) have signed an innovative first-look deal.
Boom! will get first-dollar gross on the movies made from its properties. Said earnings will be split 50-50 between the publisher and the adapted comic’s creator(s).
Fox and its divisions gains access to Boom’s vast library and all its new intellectual property.
Meanwhile Boom! will gain access to Fox’s back catalog, so it can pick and choose films to reboot in comic book form. The studio could then reconceive titles and use them to develop remakes.
