Kick Ass’ Aaron Johnson Offered Lead In Godzilla

There’s no new info about what the role will contain, but Deadline are saying that Aaron Johnson has an offer to star in Godzilla. As reported last night, he’ll be playing some kind of solider.
We heard a few weeks back that a redraft was being done to make the characters older. Either that plan was scrapped or it used to be about some pretty young version of the military.
Johnson wasn’t on that short list shared as “Director’s picks” and ”Studio’s picks” so we can’t even make judgmental comments on that front.
