Adways Interactive, a U.S. subsidiary of one of Japan’s leading mobile game publishers and also Japan’s top mobile ad network, today announced they have hired mobile gaming veteran, Keiji Fujita as the Vice President of Game Business.

Fujita (formerly of Square Enix and Taito) has transferred to the North American branch in the San Francisco area. The office will serve as headquarters for Adways U.S. sales and marketing activities, as well as North American developer relations.

“I am excited for this opportunity to lead the gaming division at Adways U.S. office, and I am looking to serve as a bridge for U.S. and European mobile game developers who are interested in bringing their games to the Japanese market,” said Fujita. “We know the market as a leading publisher as well as a top distribution network. I believe we are in a very unique position to help U.S. and European developers succeed in Japan and Asia.”

Adways has launched three top 5 grossing iPhone games in Japan to date. Adways also runs AppDriver, the largest CPI ad network in Japan.
