We meet once a month to discuss comic books past, present, and future. Come with your ideas and geekieness. Feel free to bring snacks or drinks.

EVERYONE IS WELCOME. This is the perfect opportunity to learn about comics and discover something new. You don’t have to be a comic book aficionado to attend. These meetings are meant to introduce people to new comic books as well as to discuss current titles they may be reading.

Don’t worry if you haven’t read this months reading list. Come join us anyway and decide if the books we are discussing sound interesting enough for you to pick them up on your own.

We will be meeting on Wednesday, October 12 at 7 PM – 9 PM at WonderComics in Yucaipa.

This months reading list is:
Batman: Hush
DMZ (comics)
Paper Girls
The Witching Hour

Well, we are giving you that time. You don’t have to stay all 15 hrs. Hell you don’t even have to come. But if you are tired of trying to find the time to do the things you want to do then come on down and use this as an excuse. Continue reading

Forbidden Panel is proud to announce that we will be participating in Nerdbot-Con 2016. This fun filled convention will be located in the beautiful city of Pasadena on September 24th, 2016.
Come get your nerd on and meet your favorite artists, creators and writers of Forbidden Panel. We will have books, art and much more for purchase.

Our booth is M87, bring your family and join in on the fun. Stop by our booth and say Hi!

Tickets are only $16. Get them before they are gone!

Every so often, geeks get a chance to have an epic experience meeting their heroes and idols.  If we’re lucky, we accidentally bump into them at conventions and have a brief, flustered moment where we blurt out things like, “OMGILOVEYOUYOUAREMYHEROPLEASESIGNTHISICANTBREATHEWHATSMYNAMEAGAIN!?!?!

Oh …maybe that’s just me?

ANYway…

Rare is the moment when a true fan is able to immerse themselves in the culture of their favorite thing in a small room where the creator can be seen casually wandering around, the voices of your idols are willing to take photos and listen to you no matter how flustered you sound, and the friends and family of cast and crew are hanging out as though they’re just regular folks, totally approachable and kind to everyone.

Guys, my five year old got to have that moment.

That’s right, my five year old had that golden experience most fans wait lifetimes to have.  It took place at Gallery Nucleus in Alhambra last night at the opening of the #FarewellToTheFalls exhibit, dedicated to the two-season hit on Disney XD; Gravity Falls, created by Alex Hirsch.

We have created these days because we love to be around creativity. During our 24hr days it has become apparent that artists and writers and creators feed off of each other. It has also been a great opportunity to get help with anything that you have been stuck on or just getting others opinions. It’s a fantastic environment to just create. Continue reading

Day 2 started out much the same as day one. We headed over to the San Diego Convention Center early, playing Pokemon Go along the way. Friday’s crowds were bigger than Thursday, yet more organized than previous years.
