Geeking with Chronic Pain

This isn’t a subject I’ve seen much, if anything, written about. I happen to have severe fibromyalgia, which makes normal life impossible. It seems that the one thing that doesn’t hurt like hell is typing, so I’m always on my laptop. E-book and E-comic readers are a godsend, since something as simple as holding a comic or book can hurt, as is technology in general. I love the Internet, because I can look up whatever and find it in a matter of seconds. I can watch movies, listen to music, all when I’m in too much pain to barely move. And now there are headsets for only $500-ish that let you control all of that with your mind. Seriously, how cool is that?…..
