Greetings fellow movie fans. So for this weeks Shots from the Studio I’d like to present my 2024 alternative Oscars. Now don’t get me wrong this was a great year for Oscar winning movies and I loved a lot of the nominees. This is just my take on some movies and performers that I think deserved more recognition and a couple of categories I think should be added to the roster.
Best Actor: Bradly Cooper, Guardians of the Galaxy.
Best Actress: Violet McGraw, M3GAN
Best Stunt Coordination: John Wick 4
Best Directorial Debut: Jake Johnson, Self Reliance
Best Animated Feature: Spiderman Across the Spiderverse.
Best Director: Takashi Yamazaki
Best Picture: Godzilla Minus One
