Smallville Season 11 to be released « Nerd Reactor

DC will be continuing the Smallville series, however, this Smallville series will be continued not as a TV show, but as a comic book. Well, a digital comic book and then later as a print. It will be called SMALLVILLE SEASON 11 the show had 10 seasons. The comic book will be written by Brian Q. Miller, who was a writer on the show as well. The first digital release will be on April 13, 2012 and a weekly digital release afterwards. A print will be released afterwards periodically starting May 16th, and along with the print copy is an episode guide.

The book will pick up where the show left off with Clark as Superman. The book will also have other character favorites such as Green Arrow, Lois, Lex Luthor, and Chloe. In addition to Miller, many other comic book hitters will be part of the book, such as Gary Frank, who will be doing the print covers, Cat Staggs on digital, and Pere Perez for the interior.

Six months after Clark Kent donned the cape and took to the skies to save Earth from Apokolips… enter Season 11!” enthuses Miller.  “New allies abound!  New enemies afoot!  And old friends return where they’re least expected!  Pere and colorist Chris Beckett have done a fantastic job of capturing the look of the show and the players, and Gary and Cat are knocking it out of the park on covers. I couldn’t be more excited to help give seasoned viewers and new readers an all-access pass to Clark’s first year in the cape.
