‘Batman: Gotham by Gaslight’ is WB’s next animated movie, Amazon leak reveals

An Amazon listing for the upcoming Batman and Harley Quinn 4K Blu-ray has revealed what Warner Bros.’ next animated movie will be, and it’s Batman: Gotham by Gaslight.

“Gotham by Gaslight” is a classic Batman comic that was published in 1989. Here’s a brief description from the Batman News review:

Originally published in 1989, Gotham by Gaslight tells the “What if” story of a 19th century Caped Crusader who comes face to face with the Butcher of Whitechapel. It’s Batman vs. Jack the Ripper written by Brian Augustyn and illustrated by none other than the creator of Hellboy, Mike Mignola.

The back box art for Batman and Harley Quinn lists “A Sneak Peek at DC Universe’s Next Animated Movie: Batman: Gotham by Gaslight” as one of the special features. Check out the image below, and click to enlarge it.
