“Blade Runner 2049” Gets A Comic Con Experience

Alcon Entertainment has announced that the long-awaited “Blade Runner 2049” will score a once-in-a-lifetime exhibit at this year’s Comic Con.

The Blade Runner 2049 Experience will be open to the public in San Diego’s famed Gaslamp Quarter and will replicate the movie’s setting, complete with the unique sights, sounds and atmosphere of Los Angeles 2049.

The actual Spinner vehicle from the new film will be on display, along with other vehicles, costumes and art. There will also be an Oculus VR experience which will immerse visitors in the world of the film, and a sneak peek at the limited-edition Johnnie Walker Black Label The Director’s Cut bottle inspired by the original prop from the first film.

The exhibit runs from Thursday, July 20th to Sunday, July 23rd. Additionally, Empire has released a new limited edition subscribers cover for their latest issue, one teasing the film with a custom piece of art. That issue will be on newsstands on July 13th.
