David Goyer Adapting “100 Bullets” Comic

From Dark Horizons

“Batman Begins” and “Blade” scribe David S. Goyer has been hired to pen a TV series adaptation of the DC & Vertigo’s acclaimed comic “100 Bullets” for Showtime and Warner Bros. TV reports Deadline.

Brian Azzarello created the 100-issue long comic which centers on Agent Graves, a mysterious man who approaches someone who has been the victim of a terrible wrong and gives them the chance to set things right by providing them a handgun, 100 completely untraceable bullets, and documentation of the person primarily and personally responsible for their woes.

Initially seeming like an anthology of self-contained episodes, the comic eventually became a sprawling crime saga that embraces a sense that everyone and everything is connected.

Goyer will write the pilot and executive produce the series.
