Movie 43 seems like a weird little concept that has gotten quite a huge bit of support behind it. In a world where the biggest and most famous cast would be king, Movie 43 would put Valentines Day to shame. Set as a series of short films under one name, it appears that the stories are separate from one another and won’t be marred by some clumsily realised theme, say…a love centric holiday or the eve of the new year.

Also, what diferentiates the project is that is has multiple directors, including Elizabeth Banks, Steven Brill, Steve Carr, Rusty Cundieff, James Duffy, Griffin Dunne, Peter Farrelly, Patrik Forsberg, James Gunn, Bob Odenkirk and Brett Ratner. If you think that list was long, wait until you see this one. Emma Stone, Hugh Jackman, Kate Winslet, Naomi Watts, Terrence Howard, Halle Berry, Jason Sudeikis, Gerard Butler, Kristen Bell, Chloe Moretz, Josh Duhamel, Uma Thurman, Johnny Knoxville, Elizabeth Banks, Leslie Bibb, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Richard Gere, Anna Faris, Justin Long, Liev Schreiber, Seann William Scott, Kieran Culkin, Jimmy Bennett, Ricky Gervais, Stephen Merchant, Kate Bosworth and there are more that make up the cast, but my fingers hurt.

With all those lot, it is certain some of the stories won’t work, but it’s highly likely at least a few will.
