“Hobbit” Dwarf Centerfolds: Fili and Kili

From Dark Horizons

More dwarf glamour shots have emerged from “The Hobbit” today, the third such shot with each containing a different mix of actors. Last week we had one English stage actor/performer and four New Zealand film, TV and stage actors. Today MSN has revealed a photo featuring two younger actors that genre fans may be more familiar with.

Arguably the ‘hunkiest’ of the dwarf actors, aside from Richard Armitage of course, the pair consists of Auckland-born actor Dean O’Gorman (who resembles my good mate Adam) as Fili and Irish actor Aidan Turner as Kili.

34-year-old O’Gorman, who replaced Brit actor Rob Kazinsky who left the project in April, has appeared on numerous TV productions shot in Australia and New Zealand including “Shortland Street,” “Xena: Warrior Princess,” “Farscape,” “McLeod’s Daughters,” “Legend of the Seeker” and “Hercules”.

28-year-old Turner is best known for playing the vampire lead John Mitchell in the first three seasons of the original UK series “Being Human”.

The characters themselves are two of the more distinct of the company of twelve dwarves. They’re the youngest by far, they’re nephews of the party’s leader Thorin (Richard Armitage), and best guess is they’ll likely to provide the moments of levity much like Merry and Pippin did in the ‘Rings’ films.
