Jack Reynor Cast In Fourth “Transformers”

Irish actor Jack Reynor (“What Richard Did,” “The Delivery Man”) will star opposite Mark Wahlberg in Michael Bay’s untitled fourth “Transformers” film at Paramount Pictures.

Ehren Krueger penned the script with the film set four years after events in the third film “Dark of the Moon,” and will not be connected to past characters.

Nicola Peltz and Brenton Thwaites were previously linked for the younger leads of Wahlberg’s daughter and her racecar driver boyfriend. Looks like Reynor, rather than Thwaites, has scored the latter role.

Lorenzo di Bonaventura, Don Murphy, Ian Bryce and Tom DeSanto will produce.
