“Lazarus” Comic Becomes A TV Series

Legendary Television and producer Matt Tolmach have scored the rights and are planning a scripted TV series adaptation of Greg Rucka and Michael Lark’s comic title “Lazarus”.
The story is set in a dystopian future where sixteen wealthy families rule society. Each is protected by a Lazarus, a genetically engineered and unkillable being.
The comic follows Forever Carlyle, one of these Lazarus beings who uses force and deception to keep her family and their interests safe.
Greg Rucka will write the series pilot and will executive produce alongside Lark and Tolmach. David Manpearl will also produce.
