No “Force Awakens” Footage At Comic Con
The main reason to attend the “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” panel on Thursday at San Diego Comic Con seems to have vanished into the ether.
EW reports that those hoping for a new trailer for “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” to premiere at the convention are out of luck as the next trailer isn’t due until this Fall. In fact, the presentation is said to not contain any new clips from the movie at all.
There were rumors of a behind the scenes featurette screening at the presentation, but now it looks like that’s no longer the case.
So what will we see? Director J.J. Abrams, screenwriter Lawrence Kasdan, and Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy will be on stage to talk about the film, and there is reports that several actors who haven’t yet spoken publicly about their roles will make an appearance.
