ROBOCOP returning to comic books this Summer from BOOM! Studios
ROBOCOP has been in and out of the news over the last couple years for the upcoming reboot of the film franchise. And now comes news that BOOM! Studios is reviving the ROBOCOP comics. Frank Miller and Stephen Grant of previous ROBOCOP comics series are collaborating on a new story out this Summer. According to BOOM! Studios’ website, “The people of Detroit have been evicted from their homes. ED-209’s and OCP officers run the streets. With OCP’s vision for Delta City well underway, Robocop may be his city’s last hope.”
Based on a screenplay by Frank Miller and adapted by the Stephen Grant, the art will be handled by Declan Shalvey and Korkut Öztekin. The new run, titled ROBOCOP: LAST STAND hits shelves this August and is available for pre-order now.
