Sonnenfeld Swaps “Black” Men For “Metal” | News | Dark Horizons

“Men in Black” film series director Barry Sonnenfeld has found himself attached to a film adaptation of the DC Comics’ “The Metal Men” series for Warner Bros. Pictures says Vulture.
The story centers on an artificial-intelligence expert named William Magnus who creates six cyborgs, each made from a distinct chemical element with talents reflecting their places in the periodic table.
These include the stretchable leader Gold, the super strong Iron, the dumb but loyal Lead, the fiery Mercury, the insecure Tin, and the female Platinum.
Sonnenfeld first hinted last month he was possibly bringing back a classic 60’s comic property but wouldn’t say what the title was at the time.
