Syfy’s “Deadly Class” Series Casts Up 

Syfy has announced the full cast of its drama series pilot based on Rick Remender and Wes Craig’s graphic novel series “Deadly Class”.

The story is set at the height of late 1980s counter culture, the action follows a disillusioned teen recruited into a storied high school for assassins. He must maintain his moral code while surviving a ruthless curriculum, vicious social cliques, and his own adolescent uncertainties.

Benedict Wong is set for the series regular role of Master Lin, the school’s headmaster. Benjamin Wadsworth will play Marcus, the awkward outcast filled with bottled rage who has lived his life on the streets of San Francisco. Lana Condor will play Saya, a former Yakuza clan member banished to the scool.

Maria Gabriela de Faria is set for the fiery exhibitionist Maria, Luke Tennie will play LA gang leader Willie, Liam James is set to play skater punk Billy, and Michel Duval will play drug lord son Chico. Also onboard in recurring roles are Henry Rollins as Jurgen Denke, Taylor Hickson as Petra, Siobhan Williams as Brandy, Jack Gillett as Viktor, Sean Depner as Lex and Ryan Robbins as Rory.

“Deadly Class” is produced by Universal Cable Productions and Sony Pictures Television. Adam Targum, Rick Remender, Miles Orion Feldsott, Anthony Russo, Joe Russo, Mike Larocca, and Lee Toland Krieger serve as executive producers.
