It’s that time of year again. No, not Christmas. Well not for some. But time for San Diego Comic Con. The biggest convention of the year is upon us once again.
SDCC is always a love/hate relationship. While I enjoy seeing all the amazing exclusives and grand booth displays on the floor, I am not a big fan of crazed crowds and long waits in line. This year was no exception.
The convention floor was filled with some really amazing statues and toys and displays. While I did not have a chance to see everything (the floor was only open for 3 hrs) I did my best to take pictures of what I could see. I also managed to be able to run around to some of my favorite booths and grab some of the exclusives.
For me, my favorite part of SDCC is the Annual Forbidden Panel Dinner at the Gaslamp Strip Club (think steaks). I was not let down this year. Joined by some good friends and fans, I had a blast.
Here are some of the photos I did manage to take today. While I will not be able to attend Fri-Sun, I will be on the floor again tomorrow. Hopefully, I can snap more pictures at that time. To see what pics I will be taking, please head over to our Instgram page and follow our adventures as they happen. Also, check back here on Tuesday as we release the latest episode of the PanelCast with our detailed run-down of our hijinks at SDCC
In this episode AJ and Anthony discuss Peter Parker and Miles Morales as well as review Terminator Genisys!
In this episode AJ sits down with Joey LaBartunek to talk about the Comixology release of his latest book, A Man Called Kraken. Joey also spends sometime talking about his influences growing up as well as favorite comics and movies and love for all things Llama.

We got them dressed.
Or what we would find when we got there… Continue reading
To be honest for Adam and myself (Andrea), Star Wars week started for us Tuesday night at the Dodgers Baseball game. The stadium was invaded with Jedi, Storm Troopers and Darth Vader. They even gave out free T-shirts to commemorate the night.
So, now, onward to the first day of Star Wars Celebration and our further adventures into geekdom!
First things first;
This place was in chaos this morning! There were lines for panels, lines for registration and more lines to get to the exhibit hall.
People, aliens, Storm Troopers and “Slave Leias” were every where.
As you can see, it would have been hard for anyone to miss “the droids they were looking for”.
Once we got inside to the exhibit hall, it was sensory overload. There were booths for taking pictures in your favorite Star Wars Scene to buying your favorite toys, so much to see and so much to do it was hard to decide where to truly begin.
I will be posting updates and photos here throughout the four day experience as we wander, explore, see all we can see and do all we can do. It will be an exhausting amazing adventure and we will bring it all to you from our point of view!
More to come later…
