Walking Dead Kills Superior Spider-Man On ComiXology
Sometimes life makes it easy for you. And in this case, life means the world’s comiXology users and you means me. Looking over this week’s charts The Walking Dead #106 stands proudly at the top of the heap in (deep breath): U.S.A., Great Britain, Canada, Brazil, Philippines, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Russia, Australia, Sweden, Norway and Greece. China gives the #1 spot to Sandman #2, and what I thought would have much more of a splash Superior Spider-Man #1 coming in at the top of the charts in Japan, while India likes Deadpool #13.
I mean Superior Spider-Man came in just behind Walking Dead in most countries so it’s hardly doing badly, but with all the hoopla, I thought it’d at least take first in America where we like our heroes damaged and possessed by mass murdering senior citizens. Japan stays true to form by showing love to Lil’ Gotham, Marvel dominates the charts America and Great Britain, something called Son of Merlin pops up a lot as well as something else called Lori Lovecraft. Manhattan Projects has a strong showing through trade as well as issue. Image and Valiant showing up more and more, always nice to see.
