Syfy Planning “Roche Limit” TV Series

Syfy has reportedly given a pilot script order for “Roche Limit,” based on the Image Comics sci-fi noir series by Michael Moreci, Steve Seeley, Vic Malhotra, and Kyle Charles.

The story is set on a human colony founded by billionaire Langford Skaargred on an alien planet that borders a strange space anomaly. What begins as a place for hope has now become a melting pot of greed, cynicism, and lawlessness and a murder mystery soon unravels everything.

Writer Will Pascoe (“Orphan Black”) will handle the adaptation and will likely be showrunner, while Heavy Metal and Fremantle Media will co-produce. This follows on from Syfy’s recent critical and commercial success adapting literary works such as “The Expanse” and “The Magicians”.
