Zombies Injured in Accident in Toronto

Rescue workers were greeted with an horrific scene when they rushed to reports of an accident on the set of the new Resident Evil film.

They found a mass of blood-covered bodies, many with gaping wounds, but all still breathing.

However, it soon became apparent that rather than having to treat a number of life-threatening cases, they had to deal with nothing worse than a broken leg.

The ‘severe’ wounds were simply part of the actors’ make-up for the zombie film.

Paramedics had been called after a stunt went wrong leaving several actors injured.

But the victims’ gory zombie costumes made it difficult for crews to assess the severity of the actors’ injuries, said Peter Macintyre, Toronto emergency medical services spokesman.
